Our ALX team project, WomenHealthConnect, is dedicated to improving healthcare access for women in rural and low-income regions of Ghana. We are creating a telemedicine platform that facilitates virtual consultations, health education, and mental health support specifically designed for women facing significant barriers to care.
By leveraging mobile technology, our goal is to empower women like Amina, who often struggle with long distances to clinics and limited resources. WomenHealthConnect aims to bridge the gap in healthcare access, providing timely and affordable services that enhance maternal health and overall well-being. Through this initiative, we strive to promote gender equality in healthcare and ensure that every woman can receive the quality care she needs to thrive.
